Honesty: The Best Policy and Our Policy

It has been said that “honesty is the best policy.” At Eagle Automotive & Transmission, we agree. Since our inception, we have operated from the perspectives of honesty and integrity. In fact, it is our practice to tell you the truth. That allows you to make an informed decision about auto repair. Often, that results in clients entrusting us with their vehicles for repairs. However, that sometimes ends with a customer who decides differently. That’s okay because we know we’ve done the right thing. When you’re ready for the positive experience of highly ethical practices in auto repair, we’d love to assist you. We have two locations to serve you if you’re in the greater Houston, Texas, area. Auto Services We Provide

Eagle Automotive & Transmission provides services in two very important categories. Second, we offer honest, high-quality repairs when you do run into mechanical trouble. Are you hot? Let our team take care of your AC repairs. Are you feeling or hearing something new and odd when you try to stop? See us for brake repairs. Do you suspect transmission trouble? Yes, we perform both repairs and rebuilds. We can also help with differentials and suspension systems. Whatever the problem, our technicians have the knowledge and expertise to make your auto repairs. We’re open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-6:00 pm, so stop by to tell us what you’re noticing about your vehicle.

1. No, it’s your car so you don’t HAVE to do anything you don’t want
2. Many shops recommend it because they want to sell more
3. Many other shops recommend it because if the other side goes out shortly after replacing the other one, many customers come back complaining and it causes a service and profitability issue. So, trying to save the customer money backfires on you.
4. Loyalty to one shop goes a long way assuming they are loyal and honest with you. If this relationship exists, it makes a GREAT environment where you can collaborate on what is really needed versus trying to get as much as you can out of one another. You’ll save A LOT MORE in the long run doing it this way and a lot less stress!
1. Yes, you really should. Every time we’ve tried to help a customer in a pinch save money it comes back to haunt us.
2. Not changing the rotors and pads together will cause a lot of squealing noise and dust and they won’t last as long or works as well.
In most cases you’ll have to change the pads more often as a result so over time you don’t save money.
1. Rotors are less expensive compared to the labor it costs to turn rotors. Plus, turning rotors takes material away from them so you’re saving $10-$20 per rotor to have thinner rotors on your vehicle to help you stop.
2. You risk the rotors not coming out balanced/warped which will cause you steering wheel to vibrate/shake when stopping
